OK, There's still 5 minutes left in the season, but I'll go "out on a limb," as I did as soon as the Pens scored in the 3rd period: GAME/SERIES/SEASON....OVER.
Now that that's done, let me break down the series, and the season, the team, and the NHL in particular.
The Series; Biron had one good game, let in bad goals in the first game, the second game, and the fourth game. Believe me, the Flyers did NOT play well enough to win this series, but it could have been closer than it was, and Biron was the difference. Put simply, Biron let in too many goals that SHOULD have been stopped...not that COULD have been stopped, because ANY shot in theory COULD be stopped...but there were goals that SHOULD NOT have been goals. Period.
Also, somebody forgot to tell Carter that you have to show up for EVERY game in the playoffs. HAS THERE EVER BEEN ANYBODY with as much talent who can be so GODDAMNED LAZY as CARTER? I despise people like him...and his younger brother LUPUL, who show up whenever they feel like it. Since we need someobdy to put the puck in the net, I guess we've got to keep Carter, so I say trade Lupul, but more on that later.
As I'm typing this, Sindy Crosby just scored. Do you think he LIKED living with Lemieux?
