WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN
Look, anything that a ROCKEFELLER does, says, or promotes is probably evil...this goes without saying, but you might not know that the following two bills are being sponsored by Jay Rockefeller.
They are the usual attempts at taking away freedoms that these vermin have excelled in for decades. They are Senate Bills Senate bills No. 773 and 778, and they are aimed at taking away internet freedoms. Please write your Senators, and tell them to vote "no" on these bills.
This is vitally important. They have been trying to take away easy, open internet access for years. The internet is one of the LAST vehicles of open expression left. If ol' Rocky gets his way, you'd have to "declare" yourself whenever you sign into a computer to use it. They want to know WHO you are, WHERE you are, and WHEN you are saying ANYTHING these pigs may not agree with.

I am making a plea to everyone who reads this, please, please DO NOT TAKE ANY VACCINE THAT IS PURPORTED TO 'PREVENT' THIS FLU.
Remember 1976 and the so called Swine Flu outbreak that was purported to be a coming pandemic? It only infected recruits at Ft. Dix. Why? Because I believe that the so called Swine Flu virus infected the recruits due to the vaccines they were given. Whether the government developed the Swine Flu 1976 virus and infected the recruits as a means to test the public to see if people would comply with a call to take vaccination against Swine Flu, or the recruits became infected via contaminated vaccine they were given as part of the recruit regimen, that outbreak was as phony as they come. I was one of the people duped into taking a Swine Flu shot and it made me so sick. I was sick in bed for three months after taking the vaccine.
Do not take seasonal flu vaccine if you are told that it could help prevent this brand new Swine Flu variant. It won't do a thing to prevent this flu. What it will do is serve up new genetic material to the Swine Flu virus that I have dubbed Spanish Flu 2, the Sequel. The Spanish Flu variant will use the gene sequences in the vaccine in humans to develop more of the changes that make the virus more readily infect humans. We do not want to give this virus more human genetic material so that it will infect humans more readily person to person. This is what vaccinated individuals do for pandemic strains.
There is also a safety issue in any experimental vaccine, much like the one in 1976. Some people even feel that such a vaccine for pandemic strain might require more than one vaccination which could actually be a binary set up. The first shot might just add some genetic code that stays dormant in the body until one gets the second vaccine shot which then serves to only cause infection. It could trigger Guillain-barre syndrome, Typhus or some other condition.
An Influenza vaccine does not protect or prevent a person from contracting flu. It is purported to, maybe, prevent some complications of flu and maybe shorten duration. I am not even sure it does that. Personally, I feel the vaccine weakens our immune system and also sickens us due to contaminants in the vaccine. I feel that people can better protect themselves by washing hands often and thoroughly. People should also use protective gloves when out and about during epidemics. Don't be afraid of "looking odd." I would not be ashamed to use a mask and gloves. I see that the Mexicans are using them.
A big problem during a pandemic is that these simple supplies will become extremely scarce awfully quickly. Stock up now. Medical supplies. personal hygene supplies and don't forget fido, or any other pet. Once a pandemic hits, it will be too late to stock up. Water, too.
We may lose clean water and electric power, so be prepared.

Mike Richards didn't exactly light the world on fire either.
My bums of the series:
Mike Knuble; Two meaningless goals in the last two games, but when it counted earlier, he disappeared. But then again, what do you want? He's old, and should have been traded by a REAL GM before the beginning of the season.
Martimebomb Biron. I've said so much about Biron already, but to recap; The son-of-a-bitch can't hold a lead, gives up rebounds like they're free, is inconsistent, AND his inconsistency shows up AT THE WORST TIMES. It's never when the Flyers are 5 goals ahead in a meaningless game, it's usually a bad goal given up a minute or two after a big Flyers goal. God I hate inconcistency, and average goal tending...and this guy's got both in spades.
Mike Richards. Mike where'd you go for stretches of several games? How does a guy with so much heart seem to just disappear in the middle of a game?
Al Alberts, Frankie Carle, and Spike Jones; They may have been three decent musicians/singers, but as Flyer defenseman, they caused havoc in the Flyers defensive zone more than a few times. This havoc more oft than not lead to either goals or penalties.
Heroes of the series: Giroux, and Briere. Giroux is somebody to watch. With his talent, I might even take a chance and trade Carter if I got the right deal, but more on that below.
What I'd do now;
1. Get a REAL NHL coach. John Stevens is a great NHL assistant coach. or an AHL head coach. He's NOT a professional level coach. Of course, since Holmgran seems like Clarke's clone (hence the name Bobby Holmgren) he will probably keep Stevens. Just as Clarke did NOT want a Keenan, or Bill Barber around to threaten his little fifedom as a GM, since he knew he had NO REAL TALENT FOR IT (and was, in fact voted by the Hockey News as THE WORST GM IN ALL PRO SPORTS) Holmgren will probably follow suit, and keep Stevens. Stevens is likable, competent, and NOT a winner. Since the Flyers are decidedly NOT a winning organization, look for Stevens to be around until they hit a TRULY BAD stretch two years from now. The only caveat to this is they are SO bad for SO long this coming year, that SOMETHING has to be done. Then they'll throw Stevens under the bus instead of Holmgren, and Stevens will be history. WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN IS THAT THEY SHOULOD GET RID OF HOLMGREN, AND STEVENS, but they won't...
2. Trade Biron. His contract's up this year, and before ALL the other team's in the league see JUST HOW AVERAGE (in the NHL, read "bad") HE IS, get rid of him, NOW, while he's got some value. He couldn't win a job in Buffalo, and he's not good enough to keep his spot here. Toss him, NOW.
3. Get rid of Carle, Jones, and Alberts, for ONE (or if you're lucky) TWO REAL defenseman. Not one of these guys is any good, and Timmonen is only getting older. Coburn's a keeper, but you need to surround him with some talent.
4. Trade Knuble NOW
5. Trade Lupul NOW
6. I've really had it with Niittymaki; He wasn't given a real shot at beating out Martimebomb (or he would have, he's got more talent). Give him a shot at the starting spot form the git-go this season, and, if he can't cut it, trade him mid-year. He's the right age, and he's got all the tools; if he can't put it together, and win the top spot, trade him.

OK, There's still 5 minutes left in the season, but I'll go "out on a limb," as I did as soon as the Pens scored in the 3rd period: GAME/SERIES/SEASON....OVER.

Now, before I go off again, let me just say that, if you saw "Lackawanna Blues (and if you haven't, shame on you...S. Epatha Murchison is IN-CREDIBLE) you KNOW Terrence Howard is a beautiful actor. Whatever the film, he just "fits" it. He's one of those actors that's just "is" in a film. You don't think, "he's a wonderful actor," while watching him. He's flawless. You see no technique.
That said, why do I get the feeling that it's a good thing that the producers of the film "Ironman," picked Don Cheadle, to replace Terrence Howard, and not some white guy...like Michael Nutter...or we'd be hearing how racist the producers were?

Played 14 professional seasons from 1965 to 1979.
Remarkably, Parent didn't learn to skate until he was 11. In his first game as a kid, he sheepishly admitted he let in 20 goals, not a great start for someone aiming for the pros. But he had the dedication.

A REAL BIG FUCK YOU to ALL the Comcast announcers, who, INCREDIBLY ARE TRYING TO BLAME ANYBODY but MARTIMEBOMB FOR THAT FIRST GOAL OF TONIGHT'S GAME. MARTIMEBOMB, and ONLY MARTIMEBOMB was the cause of the first goal. What the morons at Comcast DIDN'T mention was that Martimebomb FAILED to glove the puck. IT bounced off his pad, and off his glove guys. GET IT? Note the operative words here; THE PUCK BOUNCED OFF THE IDIOT'S PAD, AND GLOVE. He failed to control the puck, and it went in PERIOD. Now STFU.

Look, you vote for Joseph Blow because Mr. Blow says he's going to raise the minimum wage, end poverty, bring about world peace, and end the heartbreak of psoriasis, and then YOU feel great about yourself. GET THIS STRAIGHT; NOWHERE, IN ANY SPIRITUAL CANNON EVER CREATED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF MANKIND does it say that it's ok to hire someone to do your good deeds. JUST BECAUSE YOU VOTE FOR SOMEBODY WHOSE PARTICULAR LIES SOUND GOOD TO YOU, DOESN'T MEAN YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED ANYTHING. You want to feel good about yourself?
